A traditional system is connected to the world via ISDN or analogue lines. ISDN is being phased out by 2025 but new orders can still be made until 2023. If you have an existing line and need a cost-effective solution for your telephony, then a traditional PBX can work for you. The systems are capable of all the normal features and phones are more basic than the alternative hosted or VOIP handsets.
